Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Continue south to Saalbach, Austria for a six-night stay. (B,D)
Day 3 Zell-am-See and Lake Cruise - Included visit to the nearby pretty resort town of Zell-am-See sitting on the spectacular shores of Lake Zell. Explore the town and maybe take an optional cruise on the lake to experience the tranquil setting. (B,D)
Day 4 Kitzbuhel and Pinzgau Train - Optional excursion with a ride on the Pinzgau train from Zell-am-See to the town of Mittersill then continue by coach to the walled town of Kitzbuhel where you will have free time to explore. (B,D)
Day 5 Salzburg and Lake Mondsee - Optional (included on Silver Service) to one of the most beautiful cities in Austria, Salzburg, with its lovely tranquil squares, medieval lanes, gothic churches and quaint cafes. Later we visit the resort of Mondsee, on the lake of the same name. (B,D)
Day 6 Grossglockner Glacier - Today's included excursion takes us up Austria's highest moutnain, the Grossglockner, to reach the viewing platform from where you can see the Grossglockner Glacier, the longest glacier in Europe. We then continue to the charming mountaineers' village of Heiligenblut. (B,D)
Day 7 Hallstatt and Bad Ischl - Join our full-day optional excursion into the picturesque Austrian Lakes to visit the picture-postcard village of Hallstatt and the spa-town of Bad Ischl. (B,D)
Day 8 To Belgium for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 9 To Calais and return home. (B)

Your hotels
You'll stay for six nights at the family run 4-star Berger's Sporthotel, in the centre of Saalbach. The hotel has a bar, restaurant, lift and fabulous new indoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have a telephone, T.V., mini bar and safety-deposit box. Overnight stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels.
