Excursions and visits
Berlin Evening Tour
(optional). An evening sightseeing tour takes in all the major sights in Berlin’s historical centre, including the Cathedral, Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall.

Warsaw Sightseeing (included). Our tour of this cultural capital includes the ‘Royal Route’ with its aristocratic residences, the Old Town, the Ghetto Memorial and the Belvedere Palace. Our local guide will provide an informative commentary, revealing many of the stories behind the often tragic history of this fascinating city that was all but destroyed during WWII.
Moscow Sightseeing (included). Discover the vibrant capital of Moscow on our guided sightseeing tour, introducing Novodevichy Convent, Red Square, the Kremlin and St. Basil’s Cathedral. You can also enjoy an optional visit to the Kremlin or Armoury. As the former residence of the Tsars, and today’s Russian political nerve centre, the Kremlin is an unrivalled architectural ensemble, whilst the Armoury, the treasury of the Russian Tsars, boasts a unique collection of gold and silver items. In the evening, our optional ‘Moscow by Night’ tour covers the city’s famous underground metro system. Decorated with chandeliers, marble, granite and coloured glass, the metro is strikingly beautiful. The highlight is the stunning view of Moscow’s illuminated buildings, especially the splendid sight of St. Basil’s Cathedral.

St. Petersburg Sightseeing (included). This guided tour will introduce the famous landmarks, history and culture of the city. We’ll see the magnificent Decembrists Square, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, and the Peter and Paul Fortress, which became a notorious prison for revolutionaries. St. Petersburg Ballet is classed as the birthplace of Russian classical ballet, and you can enjoy an optional evening at one of the famed St. Petersburg ballet theatres.
St. Petersburg Boat Cruise (optional). Join a boat cruise along the Neva River, seeing the Aurora Battleship, the Gulf of Finland and many other sights. Then enjoy a traditional Russian show on board, with dancing and singing. Included in the price is Russian sparkling wine, vodka, caviar and fresh fruit.

Helsinki (included). Enjoy a short visit to Finland’s capital city.

Stockholm (included). Enjoy a short introduction to the city, built on 14 islands on the outflow of Lake Malaren.
Copenhagen Sightseeing (optional). Copenhagen has many fascinating landmarks and architectural masterpieces. We see the Tivoli Gardens, the Rosenborg Palace, which is home to the Danish crown jewels and Edvard Eriksen’s ‘Little Mermaid’, said to be inspired by a ballet about the famous fairytale.
