Your holiday itinerary
9 Day-Holiday
Day 1 Local departure by coach, then to Belgium or northern France for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Continue south to Lake Garda for a six-night stay in your choice of hotel on either half board or all-inclusive. (B,D)
Day 3 Winetasting - After a leisurely morning, join our optional excursion to sample the regional wines in one of the local cantinas together with home-made local bread and local 'speck' ham. (B,D)
Day 4 Venice - A wonderful included excursion to the 'floating' city of Venice. Enjoy the famous sights, including the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square and the Doges’ Palace. For a different view of Venice enjoy an optional Lagoon Cruise sailing past Giudecca Island and Lido seaside resort, made famous by the International Film Festival. (B,D)
Day 5 Lake Garda - Today's optional excursion takes us around the shores of Lake Garda. We will stop at some of its most picturesque villages, including the gem of the peninsula, Sirmione, from where we take a boat cruise. (B,D)
Day 6 Free time - Enjoy a leisurely day in the resort. (B,D)
Day 7 Verona - Join our included excursion to the fair city of Verona. To discover the many charms of the city, join our optional guided walking tour. Verona boasts an abundance of fine palaces, churches and monuments, which adorn its alleyways and squares and of course the famous 1st century arena, now home to the prestigious Opera Festival. Our informative guide will reveal many of the fascinating stories behind the history of the buildings and personalities, allowing you to appreciate to the full the charming nature of this fine old historic town. (B,D)
Day 8 To Belgium or northern France for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 9 To Calais then return home. (B)

12-Day Extra Leisure Tour
This option offers two extra nights on Lake Garda and an extra overnight stop on the return journey home from Lake Garda.
Days 1 to 7 - As per 9-day holiday.
Days 8 & 9 - Two extra nights on Lake Garda with an extra optional excursion to the Italian Dolomites - a spectacular mountain range where amazing views appear at every turn. (2xB,2xD)
Day 10 We leave Lake Garda for a leisurely journey north to central Germany.(B,D)
Day 11 Enjoy a leisurely day touring and sightseeing along the Rhine Valley with an optional cruise on the River. We continue to Belgium for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 12 Travel to Calais and return home. (B)

Your hotels 
Half board option
Executive coach departures will stay for six nights at the 3-star Hotel Bristol in Riva del Garda. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift and outdoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer and safe.
Silver Service departures will stay at the 4-star Club Hotel La Vela in Torbole-sul-Garda. The hotel is situated only a short walk from the lake and resort centre. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone and hairdryer. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and swimming pool with terrace. 
All inclusive option
Executive and Silver Service will stay a the 4-star Hotel Caravel in Torbole-sul-Garda for six nights. The hotel is only a short walk from the lake and offers a restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool.  All bedrooms have air-conditioning, T.V., telephone and hairdryer.
Overnight stays in central Germany (on the 12-day tour), Belgium and northern France will be in city-style hotels.
