Excursions and visits
Nice and Eze (included). We travel to Eze and the Fragonard perfume factory. Join our tour to sample and buy perfume at fabulous prices. Next, we go to Nice, with some free time to explore or simply stroll along the Promenade des Anglais. Santa Margherita and Portofino (optional). We visit Santa Margherita’s marinas, shops and Basilica di Santa Margherita. We then take a boat trip from Santa Margherita to Portofino (weather permitting). Once a refuge for struggling artists, the town is now one of Italy’s most fashionable resorts. The harbour is moored with expensive ocean-going yachts, and its pedestrian-only streets are crammed with a galaxy of designer names and stylish restaurants. If the weather prevents the boat trip from operating, then we will visit the seaside resort of Alassio on the return journey instead.
St. Paul de Vence and Cannes (included). St. Paul de Vence is a beautiful fortified medieval village, known as the home of artists such as Renoir, Chagall and Matisse. Wander the cobblestoned streets, admire the paintings, craft shops and boutiques, and soak up the atmosphere of a village dating back to the 1500s. We end the day in Cannes, famed for the International Film Festival. Feel like a film star on the Boulevard de la Croisette, with hotels, boutiques and gardens on one side, and glorious beaches on the other.
Monaco and Monte Carlo (optional). In the morning we visit the Principality of Monaco; its eight square miles form the smallest, and almost certainly the wealthiest, sovereign state in the world. It also has one of the few autocratic monarchies left in the world. The afternoon is at leisure in probably the most famous part of Monaco, Monte Carlo. If you feel lucky, take a chance in the Grand Casino, with its lavish interiors decorated in the striking Belle Epoque style.

Your hotels
You will stay for six nights in the Italian Riviera.  You can choose to stay in the Hotel Iva on a half-board basis, or in the Hotel Delle Mimose on an all-inclusive basis.

The 3-star Hotel Iva, in a residential area overlooking Diano Marina. The Barla family ensure a warm welcome to all of our guests. This charming hotel has a lift, large lounge, dining room and sun terrace. The hotel is close to the beach and town. All bedrooms have T.V., hairdryer, safe and telephone. The hotel also has an annexe located across the road where the rooms are situated on two levels only, but there is no lift.

All-inclusive option - Your all-inclusive stay at the 3-star Hotel Delle Mimose in Diano Marina includes a selection of drinks (e.g. beer, wine, local spirits, soft dinks, tea and coffee) available free of charge from 9am until midnight on a daily basis during your stay.  The hotel is located close to the town ans within walking distance of the sea and run by its British owner Raymond and Barbara.  The hotel has a lift, bar, air conditioned, restaurant, swimming pool and offers bicycle hire and free internet access. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, safe, tea/coffee making facilities and balcony. Overnight stays for both hotel options are in northern France in city-style hotels.
