Included Guided Walks
Walk 1 Romantic Valley (included).We meet our guide and our day starts at the small hamlet of Lengau. We travel along forest paths through woods and pastures, seeing traditional farmers’ mountain huts (approx. 5km).
Walk 2 Kleberkopf Mountain (included). Today, we start with a spectacular gondola ride on the Red Kohlmaiskopf lift. This whisks us up to an altitude of 1794m in about 10 minutes. From here, the day continues on the Saalachtaler high mountain path to the Spielbergtörl, and then onto the summit of the Kleberkopf (approx. 9km).
Walk 3 Asitzkopf (included). Our day begins with a journey up the Kohlmaiskopf gondola. We then walk to the Wildenkarkogel (1910m), back over the Thuneralm to Mittersill from the Kohlmais lift, then back to Saalbach by local bus (approx. 9km).
Walk 4 Hohe Penhab (included). We head to Hinterglemm and the Zwölferhorn gondola. We walk from the Zwölferkogelbahn at Hohe Penhab, to the Seekar, coming to a small lake, and then we carry on along the Schönhoferwand to the Ellmau Alm. From the Ellmau Alm we walk to the middle station of the Zwölferkogelbahn, and from here return to Saalbach by bus (approx. 6km).

Excursions and visits
Free day or Krimml Waterfall and Ziller Valley (optional). At 380 metres, these cascades are Europe’s longest free fall of water! Our tour offers the chance to discover the delights of Krimml Waterfall. We also drive over the Gerlos Pass to the Mayrhofen ski resort and then follow the breathtaking Ziller Valley, en route to Rattenberg.

Your hotels
You’ll stay for six nights at the 4-star Berger’s Sporthotel, in the centre of Saalbach. The hotel offers a restaurant, lobby with Prosecco Bar, Red Salon and rustic Berger-Stüberl, plus lift and indoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have a telephone, T.V., mini bar and safetydeposit boxes. The Berger family have been hosting British guests for many years and always ensure a friendly welcome. Overnight stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels.

Flying start/return.
If you prefer you can choose to travel by air. Take a ‘flying start’ and join the tour directly on day 2 and/or choose a ‘flying return’ departing on day 8. Flights are to/from Salzburg. Call for more details of flights prices/times.
