4-Day holiday itinerary
Day 1 To Valkenburg for a three-night stay.
Day 2 Rhine and Moselle Valleys - Enjoy a spectacular optional full-day excursion along the Rhine Valley seeing fairytale castles and picturesque villages lining the water's edge. After time in Boppard join our optional Rhine Cruise with lunch followd by winetasting in Alken on the Moselle. (B,D)
Day 3 Monschau and Eifel Valley - This morning join our optional visit to historic Monschau, 'the gem of the Eifel region', with its half-timbered houses, which are centuries old and lie tucked into the hilly landsacape. (B,D)
Day 4 To Calais then return home. (B)

7-Day holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to Valkenburg for a six-night stay.
Day 2 Drielandenput and Aachen - Included excursion firstly to the hightest point in Holland, Vaals, situated in the South Limburg Hills, then to Drielandenput (Three-Country Point), where the borders of Germany, Holland and Belgium meet at one point. This afternoon we visit Aachen in Germany with its magnificent cathedral and old town. (B,D)
Day 3 Amsterdam - Included excursion to Amsterdam 'one of the greatest small cities' in Europe. Explore the museums and relax in one of the canal-side cafes. Join our leisurely optional cruise along the picturesque canals, which ends at a diamond factory, where we see diamond turning. (B,D)
Day 4 Rhine and Moselle Valleys - As per day two of 4-day holiday. (B,D)
Day 5 Valkenburg or Floriade - A free day to relax and explore quaint cobbled streets, beautiful buildings, shops, bars and cafes of Valkenburg. Alternatively, you can join our optional excursion to Floriade to enjoy the 'once in every 10 years' garden show spectacular. (B,D) Please note: Floriade optional excursion will not be avaiable on October departures.
Day 6 Monschau and Eifel Valley - As per day three of 4-day holiday. (B,D)
Day 7 To Calais then return home. (B)

Your hotels
You’ll stay for three of six nights at the 3-star Hotel de Bogaerde in the centre of Valkenburg. The hotel has a lift and all bedrooms have telephone, radio and T.V. The restaurant and bar are located in the adjacent sister hotel, Hotel Walram, which is connected by an indoor walkway. Thw Walram's indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium area also available for use.
