Your holiday at a glance
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Via Möhne Dam, of Dambusters fame, then to Berlin for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 3 Berlin - To make the most of your day in Berlin, join our optional guided sightseeing tour which includes the cathedral, Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Wall.  (B,D)
Day 4 To Warsaw for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 5 Warsaw - Nearly destroyed in WWII, yet restored in under 13 years, Poland’s pretty capital is a gem! Our optional sightseeing tour (included on Silver Service) takes in the castles, monuments and cathedrals at the heart of this robust nation. (B,D)
Day 6 Jasna Gora and Auschwitz - We visit the fascinating 4th-century Paulite Monastery at Jasna Gora and its famous ‘Black Madonna’, then Auschwitz Concentration Camp for a remembrance visit. Continue to Krakow for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 7 Krakow & Wielcza Salt Mines - Enjoy our included guided sightseeing tour of Krakow. Its Old Town is placed on the UNESCO list of protected World Historic Sites on account of its fabulous architecture.  This afternoon you can join our optional visit to the famous salt mines where salt mining has continued since the Middle Ages. (B)
Day 8 To Budapest for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 9 Budapest - A full day to discover the Hungarian capital at leisure. Our optional guided sightseeing tour (included on Silver Service) captures many sights, beginning with a drive to Gellért Hill, then over the famous Chain Bridge and onto the Pest district. You can also join an optional reaxing lunch cruise on the majestic ‘blue’ Danube. (B,D)
Day 10 Vienna - Travel to Vienna. Upon arrival our optional guided tour will introduce the principal sights, including the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament building and the City Hall. We see the house where Johann Strauss composed the Blue Danube Waltz before crossing the Danube to see the United Nations complex. Tonight, take in a Viennese concert with the Salon Orchestra of Vienna.  We stay in the Stockerau or the Vienna Woods area. Day 11 To Prague for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 12 Prague with guided walking tour - Prague is affectionately known as the ‘Golden Town’. Our included guided walking tour introduces the splendid architecture of Prague Old Town, the world’s largest UNESCO monument. (B,D)
Day 13 To Belgium for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 14 To Calais then return home. (B)

Your hotels
You’ll stay for two nights at the 3-star H2 Alexanderplatz or similar in Berlin; two nights at the 3-star Hotel MDM or similar in Warsaw; two nights at the 3-star Holiday Inn Express or Hotel Galaxy in Krakow, or similar; two nights at the 4-star Novotel Budapest; overnight at a minimum 3-star  hotel in the Stockerau or Vienna Woods area and two nights at the 3-star Ibis Mala Strana, or similr, in Prague. Overnight stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels.
