Day 1 Local departure then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland, and overnight stay in Carlow. D
Day 2 To Cork and Blarney Castle then on to our hotel overlooking Bantry Bay for a 3-night stay. B,D

Excursions and visits
Cork and Blarney Castle (included). We visit Cork, Ireland’s third city, then head to Blarney Castle and the famous ‘Blarney Stone’ (entrance extra). 
Beara Peninsula (included). Breathtaking views await as we tour this bygone haunt of smugglers. Take an optional boat trip to magnificent Garnish Island, Ireland’s most outstanding garden island, with its famous collection of plants and Italian landscaping.
Killarney and the Ring of Kerry (included). Jaunting Car Ride (optional). See dramatic scenery and the picturesque fishing villages of the Ring of Kerry, and enjoy the infectious humour of the families who have run jaunting cars (pony and trap rides) for generations at Killarney.
Dublin (optional). In Dublin, with its fascinating history, you can join an optional sightseeing tour.

Your hotels
You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star Glengarriff Eccles Hotel, overlooking beautiful Bantry Bay and only a short walk to the village. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and lift. All bedrooms have a T.V., telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffeemaking facilities. Overnight stays in Carlow and Dublin are in 3-star hotels.
