Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure then to our hotel in Caernarfon for a five nights. (D)
Day 2 Llanberis & Snowdonia - Optional excursion to the lakeside town of Llanberis, terminus of the Lake Railway and Snowdon Mountain Railway. We later head across the Pass of Llanberis climbing 1200 feet on one of the most spectacular roads in Britain. We continue to Beddgelert, one of Snowdonia's most beautiful villages. (B,D)
Day 3 Llandudno & Bodnant Gardens - Included excursion to Llandudno which boasts two miles of sandy beaches and a fine Victorian promenade situated between to headlands. Spend time here, before we head to Bodnant Gardens, amongst the finest in the U.K. (entrance extra). Continue south to the picture-postcard village of Betws-y-Coed and nearby Swallow Falls. (B,D)
Day 4 Isle of Anglesey - Included excursion across the Menai Straits to Anglesey and to the village of Llanfair PG, made famous for having the longest place name in Britain. We continue to Beaumaris, known for its magnificent castle (entrance extra). (B,D)
Day 5 Ffestiniog Railway - Optional excursion to Blaenau Ffestiniog, where we board the steam-hauled train that runs along a 13 and a half mile narrow gauge line through dramatic scenery to Porthmadog. After time here, we head to Portmeirion, designed in the style of an Italian Village ad used as the location in 'The Prisioner' (B,D)
Day 6 Return home. (B)
