Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland and overnight stay in Carlow. (D)
Day 2 Cork - We travel to Cork, Ireland's third city, then head to Blarney Castle with its famous 'Blarney Stone' (entrance extra). Continue to our hotel in Glengarriff for a three-night stay. (B,D)
Day 3 Beara Peninsula - Breathtaking views abound on our included excursion as we tour this bygone haunt of smugglers, the Beara Peninsula. Take an optioal boat trip to magnificent Garnish Island, Ireland's most outstanding garden island, wuith its famous collection of plants and Italian landscaping. (B,D)
Day 4 Killarney and the Ring of Kerry; Jaunting Car Ride - See dramatic scenery and the picturesque fishing villages on the Ring of Kerry on our included excursion. Later, in Killarney take an optional ride on the jaunting cars (pony and trap rides) and enjoy the infectious humour of the families who have run them for generations.  (B,D)
Day 5 Dublin - We travel back across Ireland to the Dublin area for an overnight stay. Here, you can join an optional sightseeing tour which will take in the history, major sights and splendid architecture such as Trinity College, and Four Courts, the National Gallery, and of course, St. Patrick's Cathedral. (B)
Day 6 We journey home to Holyhead, then return home. (B*)
Included Meals: B=Breakfast, D=Dinner * Due to departure time, breakfast on day 6 may be on the ferry.

Your hotels
You'll stay for three nights at the 3-star Glengarriff Eccles Hotel, overlooking Bantry Bay and only a short walk to the village. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Overnight stays in Carlow and the Dublin area are in 3-star hotels.
