Your holiday itinerary 
Day 1 Local departure by coach then onwards to northern France for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Continue south to the Italian Riviera for a four-night stay. (B,D)
Day 3 Riviera of Flowers - Relaxing optional excursion along the beautiful 'Riviera of Flowers'. Explore the alleyways of Laigueglia and stroll aong the Budello in the thriving resort of Alassio. (B,D)
Day 4 Monaco and Monte Carlo - Included visit to the exclusive state of Monaco with its striking Belle Epoque style casino and famous Princes Palace. (B,D)
Day 5 Portofino - Enjoy our optional excursion by boat to the picturesque resort of Portofino. (B,D)
Day 6 Pisa - We leave the Riviera and en-route to Chianciano, our next base for a four-night stay, we make a short stop in Pisa, seeing the 'Leaning  Tower' and the equally stunnin black and white marble Duomo and Baptistry. (B,D)
Day 7 Rome - Included visit to the 'eternal city'. Take in the breathtaking architecture of the ancient palaces and piazzas in the 'eternal' city of Rome. Our optional sightseeing tour on foot and by coach will introduce you to the principal sights including the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. (B,D)
Day 8 Siena and San Gimignano - A full-day optional excursion to two delightful Tuscan towns. Siena is one of the highlights of any visit to Tuscany. Explore the Piazza del Campo and see the famous Duomo. The charming hilltop town of San Gimignano, has beautiful views over the rolling Tuscan countryside. (B,D)
Day 9 Assisi and Gubbio - Included full-day to Umbria, the 'Green Heart of Italy'. We head to Assisi, the native town of St. Francis. Visit the Basilica featuring frescoes by Giotto, before a scenic drive through the Umbrian countryside to medieval Gubbio, one of the region's most ancient towns. (B,D)
Day 10 Florence - We leave Chianciano and head to Florence with the artistic capital of Italy with fashionable shops, museums, cafes and splendid architecture. Join our optional guided tour to get the most from your visit. Continue to Milan/Lake Como for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 11 To northern France for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 12 Travel to Calais, then return home. (B)

Your hotels
On the Italian Riviera, you will stay for four nights at the 3-star Hotel Bergamo in San Bartolomeo, near Diano Marina. The hotel has a bar and restaurnt and is situated within walking distance of the beach and the heart of the resort. Please note due to demand we may use other hotels in Diano Marina such as the 3-star Hotel Villa Igea and the 3-star Hotel Mediterraneo. You will then stay for four nights in the spa-town of Chianciano Terme at the 3-star Hotel Mizar or similar. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Overnight stays in northern France and northern Italy will be in city-style hotels.
