Floriade is a magnificent World Horticultural Expo staged once every ten years in the Netherlands, attracting visitors from all over the world. It really is an event not to be missed!

Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to Holland for a three or four-night stay.
Day 2 Floriade - Enjoy an included full-day visit to Floriade (with entrance included). Taking place only once every ten years, Floriade 2012 will feature exhibitions from across the globe. Enjoy the most wonderful presentations and displays of landscaped gardens and experience nature with all of your senses. (B)
Day 3 Keukenhof Park (April departures only) and Amsterdam - Enjoy an included visit to Amsterdam, a maze of canals, bridges and museums. Admire the 17th century merchant houses or the floating flower market, which is ablaze with colour in every season. April departures will visit Keukenhof Park, famed for its breathtaking horticultural displays every year, Keukenhof's blooms form a sea of flowers. The exuberant colours of spring blend beautifully in a landscape of established trees, flowering shrubs, a huge variety of perennials , fountains and a large lake. A short visit to Amsterdam will also be made. Day 4 (5-day tour) The Hague and Scheveningen; Delft - Included visit to The Hague, home to the Dutch Royal Family, and a beautiful 'city behind the dunes', with a rich history and Royal heritage. Next we visit the neighbouring seaside town of Scheveningen with its many beach pavilions and cafes. Later, why not join our optional visit to charming Delft, famed for its pottery? (B)
Day 4 (4-day tour) Day 5 (5-day tour) Travel to Calais and return home. (B)

Your hotel
You'll stay for three or four-nights at the 4-star Golden Tulip Hotel, Zevenbergen. The hotel enjoys a peaceful location and offers a bar/lounge, restaurant and lift. All bedrooms have a T.V., telephone and hairdryer
On dates marked * you will stay at the 3-star Hotel Wouldschoten in Zeist. The hotel has a restaurant and bar. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. 
On dates marked ** you will stay at the 4-star NH Waalwijk. All bedrooms have T.V., hairdryer, air-conditioning and telephone. Relax in the hotel bar and excellent restaurant.
All hotels are situated within 85 miles of Floriade. Please note: Due to demand, we may use other hotels of a 3 and 4 star standard, within driving distance of Floriade.
