Day 1 UK to Northern France Dover, Calais, then dinner at our overnight hotel. (D)
Day 2 Northern France to Alf We cross the Belgian Ardennes into Germany for a lunchtime visit to Cochem, known as the
‘Pearl of the Rhine’ and then a short drive to our hotel in Alf. (B,D)
Days 3 to 6 Alf Your chance to unwind in one of the most picturesque parts of Germany, as well as enjoy excursions further afield. (B,D)
Day 7 Alf to Northern France We travel north to visit the historic city of Luxembourg, before continuing to northern France, where dinner is provided in our overnight hotel. (B,D)
Day 8 Northern France to UK Calais, Dover, then home. (B)

Full Day Trier A chance to explore Germany’s oldest town, founded by the Romans in 16BC, is not to be missed. Impressive Roman monuments include the spectacular Black Gate, or ‘Porta Nigra’, and there are numerous shops, bars and pavement cafes where a relaxing drink can be enjoyed. An optional walking tour with a local guide is also offered.
Half Day Hidden Moselle and Panoramic Train You’ll discover the delights of the Moselle’s ‘hidden’ villages, including sleepy Beilstein, before drinking in the wonderful views on the panoramic train ride through the vineyards to Traben-Trarbach.
Half Day Moselle Cruise There’s no better way to see the splendid scenery of this magical valley than by boat and this relaxing cruise sets off from your resort village of Alf.

Full Day Trier Founded by the Romans in 16 BC, Germany’s oldest town boasts an impressive collection of Roman monuments - don’t miss the spectacular Black Gate or ‘Porta Nigra’. Our local guide will be on hand to offer an optional walking tour. The town is also pleasant for a relaxing stroll around the shops or a drink in a pavement café.
Half Day Hidden Moselle & Panoramic Train Discover the delights of the ‘hidden’ villages of the Moselle as we visit the sleepy village of Beilstein before taking a panoramic train ride through the vineyards to Traben-Trarbach, enjoying wonderful views of the Moselle Valley all the way.
Half Day Moselle Cruise From our resort village of Alf we enjoy a relaxing cruise on Moselle, truly the best way to take in the landscapes of vineyards, meadows and pretty riverside villages.
