Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 Depart UK To Dover for the short crossing to Calais and on through the night towards Italy.
Day 2 Arrive Chianciano Across Switzerland and the Lombardy Plain to Tuscany and the spa resort of Chianciano for six nights. (D)
Days 3 to 7 Chianciano At leisure in Chianciano. Enjoy our trips to Rome, Florence and Montalcino, where you will see some of the highlights Italy has to offer. Chianciano is the perfect base, boasting many cafes and bars where you can sit back and relax, and there is a weekly market in the main square. (B,D)
Day 8 Depart Chianciano Late morning we leave Tuscany behind to journey northwards overnight. (B)
Day 9 Arrive UK This morning we sail from Calais to Dover and then home.

Full Day Rome
Spend the day at leisure in this fascinating city. Marvel at the Colosseum, the Vatican, St Peter’s Square and the Sistine Chapel, pause on the Spanish Steps and watch the busy Romans go about their business, and dont forget to toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain to make sure you return to this wonderful city.
Full Day Florence
Don’t miss the statue of David, the open-air museum Piazza Della Signoria or the Santa Croce. And no visit to Florence would be complete without a walk across the colourful Ponte Vecchio.
Half Day Montalcino and Sant’Antimo
Montalcino is a classic Tuscan hill-town, set within a full circuit of walls, and surrounded by wonderful countryside. The church at Sant’Antimo is wonderfully preserved, and offers an insight to the history of this region. Today will give you a taste of the real Tuscany.
