Holiday itinerary
Day 1 Dover, Calais, then into Belgium for our overnight stay.
Day 2 Across into Germany and south through Bavaria along the Inn Valley into the Austrian Tyrol and its spectacular scenery. We reach Niederau in time for dinner.
Days 3 to 8 A chance to relax and enjoy the wonderful Tyrolean hospitality, as well as three included excursions.
Day 9 Return through Germany into Belgium for dinner and our overnight stay.
Day 10 Calais, Dover, then home.

Included excursions
Full day Zillertal Train - A chance to enjoy superb views of the majestic mountains as your steam train chugs at 15mph along the length of the Ziller Valley, from Jenbach to the well-known resort of Mayrhofen.
Half day Achensee Train - Travel on Europe’s oldest Steam-driven rack and pinion railway as it elegantly climbs to the edge of Lake Achensee, the largest and highest in the Tyrol. We will stop at Pertisau, where pretty chalet-style houses are dwarfed by the surrounding Karwendel Alps.
Full day Wendelstein Rack Railway & Kufstein - Across the border to Bavaria for a ride on the nearly century-old Wendelstein Rack Railway. You will be amazed at the spectacular views as you travel through seven tunnels, eight galleries and twelve bridges to the 1,838 metre high mountain summit. Afterwards, enjoy time in the pleasant resort of Kufstein.

Pension Diane, Niederau
The Pension Diane enjoys a peaceful setting with views over the Alpine meadows and surrounding hills, yet is only 250 metres from the village centre. You are assured a warm, friendly welcome, the restaurant serves English style food and the bar opens out to a sunny terrace where the views can be enjoyed.
