Holiday itinerary
Day 1 UK to Northern France - Dover, Calais, then on to our overnight hotel. (D)
Day 2 Northern France to Berlin - Into Germany for an overnight stay at the 4* Park Inn Berlin-Alexanderplatz. (B,D)
Day 3 Berlin to Warsaw - Into Poland and Warsaw, where we spend two nights at the centrally located 4* Jan III Sobieski. Enjoy free time on arrival in Warsaw to take a walk around and soak up the atmosphere. (B,D)
Day 4 Warsaw - Today enjoy a guided city tour. Warsaw was once almost obliterated during the Second World War, but has now been lovingly restored to its former glory. Our included excursion takes in the famous sights and monuments of this robust city. (B,D)
Day 5 Warsaw to Vilnius - Leave Poland behind and head north east into Lithuania, where we stay in the cosmopolitan capital, Vilnius, for two nights at the 4* Amberton Vilnius. (B,D)
Day 6 Vilnius - Our included guided sightseeing tour today uncovers the principal sights of Vilnius; one of the oldest cities in the Baltics, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1994. (B,D)
Day 7 Vilnius to Riga - Into Latvia and onto Riga for an overnight stay at the 4* Domina Inn Riga. Riga has the finest concentration of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe, and although most of the city's earlier buildings were destroyed in wartime, you will still be able to find evidence all around the city from different centuries. (B,D)
Day 8 Riga to Tallinn - We head north to Tallinn today, and one of the best preserved medieval old towns in Europe, where we enjoy a two night stay at the 4* Domina Ilmarine. (B,D)
Day 9 Tallinn - Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the historic sites independently, or indulge in a little shopping in the elegant boutiques along the Old Town's Viru and Muurivahe streets. (B,D)
Day 10 Tallinn to Stockholm - From Tallinn we make our way by ferry to Stockholm. Accommoation is in two berth cabins with private facilities. (B,D)
Day 11 Stockholm to Copenhagen - From Stockholm we head into Denmark for a one night stay at the 4* Clarion Hotel Copenhagen. (B,D)
Day 12 Copenhagen to Hamburg - Today we continue our journey back home via Odense; birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. We arrive in Hamburg for an overnight stay at a 4* hotel. (B,D)
Day 13 Hamburg to Antwerp - Pass through Germany into Belgium and head to Antwerp for dinner and our last overnight. (B,D)
Day 14 Antwerp to UK - Calais, across to Dover, and then home. (D)
