Holiday itinerary
Day 1 Depart UK - Across to Calais and onwards overnight into Italy.
Day 2 Arrive Sauze d'Oulx - We reach the Alpine resort of Sauze d'Oulx, where we send the next six nights at the welcoming 4* Grand Hotel Besson. (D)
Days 3 to 7 Sauze d'Oulx - At leisure in pretty Sauze d'Oulx with our programme of included excursions exploring the best of this scenic Alpine region. Take the opportunity to explore the picturesque Aosta valley or to discover the winter Olympic sites on our optional excursions. (B,D)
Day 8 Depart Sauze d'Oulx - We commence our homeward journey to Northern France travelling overnight into France. (B)
Day 9 Northern France to UK - Calais, Dover, then home.

Included excursions 
Full day Lake Annecy - This is a lovely medieval town in a great location with the Alps as a backdrop. In the summer months the whole town is a riot of colour with geraniums in window boxes everywhere. The town is also known as the "French Venice" and is a wonderful place for exploring on foot.
Half day Briancon - Explore scenic Briancon - one of the highest towns in Europe and best known for its extensive Vauban fortress style fortifications.
Full day Turin - Italy's first capital offers incomparable vistas throughout the impressive long colonnaded boulevards. The city attracts many visitors to the Mole Antonelliana and the Egyptian museum is second only to Cairo.

Grand Hotel Besson, Sauze d'Oulx
The attractive Grand Hotel Besson enjoys a panoramic location just 200 metres from the centre of Alpine Sauze d'Oulx. The hotel is a lovely building dating back to the 1950's with spacious lounges and fireplaces that contribute to the alpine comfortable atmosphere.
