Holiday itinerary
Day 1 UK to Rome - From your chosen airport to Rome and transfer to your hotel, 4* Hotel Pinewood for two nights. (D) 
Day 2 Rome - A full day to explore the endless sights of this wonderfully romantic city.  Our day commences with a guided city tour and then there is free time to explore the Vatican City or to discover famous sites such as the Spanish Steps, ancient Colosseum or Trevi Fountain. (B,D)
Day 3 Siena and San Gimignano - Today we travel northwards to the wonderful Tuscan Spa town of Montecatini. We take time out to visit Siena, home to the famous Il Palio horse race. We continue to the pretty towers of the Medieval town of San Gimigano. In Montecatini our base is the Grand Hotel Plaza 4*. (B,D)
Days 4 Florence - Renaissance Florence is full of awe-inspiring landmarks and our day includes a guided walking tour in the city.  We reach Florence by train today enjoying picturesque Tuscan countryside during the journey. (B,D)
Day 5 Pisa and Lucca - A day of contrasts, we visit Pisa, made famous by the iconic Leaning Tower and the pretty town of Lucca, where within the walled ramparts a maze of narrow winding cobbled alleyways awaits. (B,D)
Day 6 Chianti Country and Wine tasting - Today we enjoy a relaxing jaunt into the heart of Tuscany, pausing at delightful villages and sampling some of the wonderful wine along the way! (B,D)
Day 7 Montecatini to Rome - We travel southwards to Rome and take time to visit the ancient town of Assisi, set on a hilltop overlooking Tuscan countryside. Explore the main monuments of cultural interest including the church of St Francis. Upon arrival in Rome we reach the 4* Hotel Pinewood for a further one night stay. (B,D) 
Day 8 Rome to UK - Transfer to the airport after breakfast for your flight back to the UK. (B)
